Not sure what this is all about, but I would like to make one quick comment. I am all for supporting the team you love, but when I brought my kids(who cheer for Brampton) to a game in Peterborough, they man sitting behind us told them to shut the f*** up everytime they cheered a Brampton goal or save. That is not appropriate and makes fans from other teams not want to go anywhere near your building. That is why we will never go to watch another game in Peterborough again. Just as you have a right to cheer for your team and be happy so do fans of all other teams.
I was at the brampton game on sunday and the guy in front of me was giving the two middle fingers up all the time throughout the game so it happens in your arena as well and true during a game people get riled up it happens every where but to come on to a forum sanctioned for lakers fans. that is why it is called the lakers fan forum and to crab and complain and talk bad to a teams fan we come here to discuss the game afterwords.. not to be bombared by brampton fans that are upset and taking it out on the loyal fans that enjoy this site,..
I cant believe that you are on this website putting down a team that obviously came out on top... it just shows that brampton has no class or fansmonship what so ever... As for peterborough backs there team 100% and in return the lakers bring more than 100% to the floor each game. When you have to get on a website for the opposing team bash them for winning it babyish and degrading to the whole brampton organization
Who cares. The refs are horrible in this league, and when you have to face them and a good team like brampton and come out with the win you are skilled. Ptbo does play stupid a lot and we derserve some of the penalties.

The penalty for illegal equipment with 37 secs. left in the third was one of the worst I have ever seen called in an important game. The Peterborough player was informed by the ref that his chinstrap was undone. He started to refasten it but the Brampton player he was checking received the ball and was attempting to beat the Peterborough player. Rather than continue to do his chinstrap up he checked his man (rightly so). At this point the ref assessed the illegal equipment call.
This is not Tyke lacrosse and this was the last 60 seconds of a very close and important game. Defensive player don't usually get hurt it is usually offensive players (they are getting hit). This very bad call by the official could have sunk Peterborough. What a travesty of the Eastern Canadian Final that would have been.
Neither of tonight's referees is worthy to be involved in the Mann Cup. MaCauley can't keep up with the play. His love of fights (remember him allowing that last fight in the third period Peterborough to go on after the players had separarted) is not part of an officials mandate. He is not ready for the Mann Cup.

The Lakers won't choke. Brampton certainly did in OT though.
But honestly, I do feel sorry for you. The biggest thrill in your life right now seems to be hanging out on the forum of the team that just knocked yours out of the running for the National Championship, trying to insult their fans inorder to make yourself feel better.... it might be past your bedtime
