Can anyone explain to me how to correctly fit a synthetic hackamore (a libbys one) or point me in the direction of a website that does. Thanks

I use a hackamore. for a rough guide to see where the nose part should lie you could google images of hackamores.

I place the nose part of my hackamore just above the gristle (soft) part of the horses nose and the centreof the hackamore bits lie slightly behind the mouth and I can fit 1 and a half fingers width between chin and strap.

The main thing is that the cheek pieces of the bridle aren't to close to the eye as have more movement from a hackamore bridle and they can slide into the eye area and the nose piece should be away from the soft area of the nose so as not to effect breathing etc or damage.

Hope this may help
