Equilibrium feed

At the Norris rug sale last weekend, there was a rep from Equilibrium promoting their feed. I read the information about it and decided to give it a go, my theory being that instead of the 3 different types of feed I currently buy (mix, chaff, conditioning cubes), I could just feed my boys the one (Equilibrium) and it may actually be more cost-effective. But its £12 a bag and going by their feeding recommendations I would need 4 bags a week, well you do the maths! I dont spend anywhere near £200/mth on hard feed, so i'm a bit disappointed as from a nutritional perspective Equilibrium sounded just the thing

My mare was on Equilibrium Low Energy, she is 14.2 and was on 3kg a day split between 2 feeds - 1 bag (15kg) lasted 5 days so worked out rather expensive, so put her on fibre plus by topspec, with topspec balancer, works out far more cost effective.

I retail Topspec, if you would like any recommendations, please email me rachael@byfleetsaddlery.co.uk

I love the winergy equlibrium. Go through 1 bag a week for 2 ponies (both are very good doers and are on the minimum amount to get all vits and mins in). May be worth phoning their nutrition hotline to see how much of it you would need to feed.
