It was just curiosity really, we have tonnes of the stuff! Couldnt get a lot of info about it on the web really. Thanks for the reply!

Is silage maize/silage grass a good feed for my horse?
There is no harm in adding a small amount of silage maize to the rations that are served, but would advise against adding too much as this gives the animal too much energy and not enough essential amino acids.
