If you are a regular user of NFED forums, you are probably aware that weve had a few problems lately which have been giving the site a bad name & putting people off using the forums.
We have discussed various ways to improve things including removing the forums altogether, but have come up with a compromise. The main problem being, we had rules, but no way of enforcing them & to be honest I blame myself for not tackling this problem before now.
The existing user group has now been deleted & a new user group has been created. Anyone wishing to post on the forums will have to rejoin the new group. We will probably do this annually to clear out unused & duplicate log in names.

To discourage multiple user names, an Email address will have to be provided & verified before an application is approved. Only one name will be permitted against each Email address. Multiple usernames will not be permitted; anyone found having more than one name will be removed from the usergroup.
If a number of complaints are received against a member, membership will be cancelled at the discretion of the administrator, obviously I am aware of groups who may band together to remove a member & will look out for patterns.
If false accusations are made, the accuser/s may be removed. In all cases the administrator (me) has the final word.
Full membership allows members to post on any of the forums unmoderated, which is a trusted position. Anyone abusing this trust will be sent packing!
I apologise for the inconvenience but hopefully actually have a method of enforcing rules will make it a better place for everyone & encourage new members to post.
