Why does it hurt so much to ride when you're out of practice? I rode a friends horse this morning and I'm in agony now!!!

Because you dont' use riding muscles for anything else LOL My advice is don't go for more than a few days without a ride unless you really, really have to

Work through the pain Caz, it dont take long till you will be accustomed to using your muscles again.

Caz i feel your pain.... my legs and butt kill after ive ridden and i even get 2 lil bruises on my butt

Oh no, didnt think about that - i havent been able to ride for over 2months, so that's gonna take some time to get used to again :-P
