Frankie attended his FIRST show today and he was a total star! He travelled like a pro, was only the 2nd time he had been in a trailer and the first time alone. He wasnt fazed by anything and was on his best behaviour at all times. He behaved in the ring but when they had to line up to do the trotting thing Frankie was next to last... he got bored and bless him he nearly fell asleep. Eventually came to his turn to trot and he wouldnt lol, he NEVER refuses to trot... he got a second chance but still refused sigh.

Besides the no trotting thing he was a star and so well behaved, am so proud of him and Leanne. He didnt get placed but we dont care he did get a special though :D But object achieved as all we wanted to do was travel him alone and get him experience it all.

Well done, its a big relief getting that first time done with no problems. They both look very happy which is great!!
When I took Stella to her first show, she did exactly the same thing, and wouldn't trot, I panicked, and kept turning to look at her, which probably made it worse!! Why does all sense go out the window, and I go into numpty mode in the show ring???

i must admit i was really worried, although i should have known better really as he is so laid back but you never know do you!

hopefully we will Claire yes but sadly there isnt many shows near us that do inhand stuff just mainly jumping and dressage. Maybe next time we can take Lola too ... now im sure that WILL be eventful lol
