i was just wondering if any one can give me any idea of what height my boy will make at full height
he is now 3 years old and he is 13.2hh at his withers but at his backend he is just over 13.2hh
i was also wondering what weight they should be for this height

What breed is he and how much bone does he have? One of my foresters was 14 1 1/2 at 3 1/2 and luckily didnt go over but my others are still growing and they are 5!!
As for weight, it would depend on its breed and build!

he is a coloured more like a cob but without the feather
his bone measurement from the top of his hoof to the knee is 14inches
he is also quite flat backed and chunky round the belly

Hi, you don't give any breeding, but if he is a 'vanner' pony off the forest he will probably stop at around 14' 2" (There are little ones as well). They have been on the Forest for centuries and their breeding is therefore much the same as the pure breds (their colour gives them away). However as they are not New Forest ponies you would show them under CHAPS and be able to enter the correct height class. (Pure bred Foresters have a mximum height of 14'2"). His rate of growth will slow down and go more out than up for the next few years. Our forest mare was same height at same age but now at 5 is 13'3". Mares tend to stop sooner than the boys who can be 7 before all their growth plates finally harden off, so not an exact science.
