christmas was 6th in the ex racers ridden, he was very well behaved, we had four faults in the working hunter exc 13.2hh due to someone putting up a gazebo which made him spook. still very pleased with him and the judge loved his laid back relaxed attitude in the ex racers class.

Well done evrybody. It seemed a lovely show at the end of the season for lots
I'm not doing Newbury as it seemd very expensive both entries and cost of travel - and also a VERY early start - though we were up at 5 for Romsey
I was especially pleased with the LR result - as I tacked up I realised that the pony had not even had a saddle on her since the NF Show but she is SO trustworthy I didn't worry.
I would like to do some Winter shows but the little boy who now rides (his sister is FAR too grownup for LR) has his own pony and I wish I could find a really keen child who would come at weeknds and holidays to ride her and do Pony Club etc.

Well done to you all.
I watched the TB class Martine and felt so embarrased for the poor girl who was asked to take her horse out that played up with the judge!! Yours looked so laid back happy.gif

Re: Romsey

i know sam i was talking to her as she was placed behind christmas in the first line up, she said because they were using the horn to change gaits and back down again he thought he was out hunting, john connifey was being careful as one of the judges coming from ireland had been chucked of a horse the day before and i think he broke his back. So the organisers told the judges if a horse misbehaves its not to be ridden, christmas on the other hand was relaxed from the moment he went in the arena and fell asleep in the line up. I had more worries he wouldnt wake up again let alone jump around.
