I am looking for somebody experienced to break my NF pony to drive. Does anybody know of anybody who can do this.............obviously somebody who has lots of experience and has done it many times and not just somebody who has dabbled before!!

Oh, I am from near Beaulieu.

Thanks happy.gif

Breaking to drive

Hi

You could use Roger Page at the Grayswood carriage driving centre who is near Marwell. He is the Area District Comissioner for the BDS Hampshire and has many years of experience breaking horses. I dont know what he charges though.

email me if you want any more info or other options that maybe I can think of.

Sue

Oh no, I had forgotten about him, that's a good idea happy.gif I have made a few enquiring phone calls so have a bit of work to do on fatso first before he goes away to work as it'll speed up the time he has to be gone for happy.gif I think he will miss being away from his mates and stuck in a stable sad.gif

I would totally agree with Sue
Roger Page and his team at Grayswood are fantastic and very experienced they also are knowledgeable and happy to discuss your exact requirements
I would contact them and go over and have a look... you could treat yourself to a driving lesson with one of rogers turnouts ..... i am sure you will get bitten by the driving bug so be careful !! LOL

It might be worth talking to Marilyn as Cobby is absolutely brilliant in harness now.

Not that I disagree with the earlier recommendations but it is always worth shopping around.
