Has anyone had experience of these rugs. I buy weatherbeeta rugs for my forester who has quite a big neck and they usually rub the mane. Was just wondering if shire rugs are any good water proof wise and is the fit any good. Tried masta but was bit disappointed that it didnt keep him dry in heavy rain.

I really like the shires rugs my 13.3 forester has a shires stormbreaker and it fits very well no rubbing of the mane and certainly no rubbing on the shoulders i did find that i went up one size compared to the masta rugs she previously had (needed a 5ft 6in ) I have also bought shires highlander this year for my welshie and it seems to fit him very well but as yet not need to wear it ! just in light weight at present.

My old pony was a very chunky forester (looked more like a cob) and shires rugs fitted him really well, were very durable and were nevr wet through. I highly reccomend them
