Response to Thanks Greg

Have just had my ISP sell-out to another mob - still having teething probs with e-mail.Please keep persisting - I would love to see what you have.

I have seen many pics of this aircraft over the years - both from Aust. war memorial sources and others - Dad only has "head on" pics or tail turret pics of the various airframes he flew in as Wireless air gunner during his time on ops - he does have a good clear side on shot of "Jane" - mate you've done her proud - most of the pics I've ever seen of her she is fitted with her ABC aerial array with 100 Gp - she's one of the few birds which kept her 4 Gp vertical tail ID stripes after the Group change - interesting interpretation with the yellow airscrew hubs - what's the source on that ?

Both Dad (Gordon Taylor or "Blue" as he is know to most) and I, have had many goes at Z5-N over the years in some of her different guises - my next project is to cross-kit the old Matchbox Hallibag with the Airfix wings and chuck in Paragon's 100 Gp detail set to have a go at "Jane" as she ended up.

I don't have as much time these days to dedicate to the hobby as I would like - one of the tasks waiting to be done is to scan some of Dad's photo's - when I get it done I will forward on to you if you'd like?

Dad and I were just talking about Z5-N last weekend - for some reason unknown to both of us she has become somewhat a "celebrity" over the last few years - I can't remeber which kit manufacturer had the Do. 335 nightfighter (Hasegawa - Dragon?) - but there on the boxart ( as the target for the Do.335) is Z5-N - the Osprey book on Halifax Squadrons, Z5-N again - and he tells me in one of the recent modelling mags he was reading there was another pic and ref to Z5-N. !!!! Go figure. Dad is amazed that such an obscure airframe as his little "Jane" seeems to be getting so much attention.

Thanks for letting me have a rant about 462

To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.

To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.

Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
