My 2011 in Plastic - 13 models (image heavy) January 2 2012 at 7:24 AM		(Premier Login hyperscale) Forum Owner from IP address 122.106.27.40


Hi all, 2011 was a below par year in terms of number of models built. I managed to finish 13 kits - lucky for some - which is one more than 2010 but significantly down on the previous couple of years. Here they are, in order of completion: Dragon 1/35 M7 Priest Wingnut Wings 1/32 Roland D.VIa Eduard 1/48 MiG-21MF HobbyBoss 1/35 M3A1 White Scout Car Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I Tamiya 1/32 P-51D (Mustang Mk.IVa) Vulcan 1/35 Vickers Mk.VI b Light Tank Great Wall Hobby 1/48 P-61A Black Widow Bronco 1/35 Hotchkiss H35 Eduard 1/32 Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-4/B Creepy Dog Figure Repaint Tamiya's brand new 1/35 M51 Eduard 1/48 Heinkel He 280 In addition to the kits, I also knocked out a couple of Ultracast 1/32 scale RAF pilot figures too, for the Tamiya Mustang and the PCM Hurricane. I cant speak highly enough of these wonderful figures. It is only a shame that my figure painting is so feeble: and speaking of the Tamiya Mustang, I also painted up Master Details' very nice seated Commonwealth pilot for the in-flight photos: So that is it for 2011. To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.

To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.

Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
