Here's my Bamboo Bomber from Czech Model in 1:48 built as a Navy JRC-1 from Alameda in 1943. My only other builds from Czech Model were the A-8 and A-12 Shrikes. This kit is much nicer, nice PE panel, even got the Cessna logo on the rudder pedals. Choice of nice resin engines (7-cylinder R-755 Shakey Jakes or 9-cylinder Lycoming R-680s). I used the military TD interior and got the TD control surfaces, but used the kit rudder and elevators as the TD parts were thicker and had a flaw on one of the elevators. I thought the rib detail on the fabric was a little overdone, so I sanded most of it down. I added a few extra details like brake lines, wing tie-down rings, door handle, oil filler caps, engine wiring, etc. Model Master paint and kit decals. Being a hack for Navy VIPs, I kept the weathering to a minimum.
