Hi to all friends,
it's quite a long time since my last post on this subject, here is a small update .

Wings leading edges taxi/landing lights - while test fitting the kit transparent part it falled inside the wing and according to Murphy Law I never recovered it - so I returned to scratch building, third attempt yelded an acceptable result (I skip the unsuccessful details).

the component are: a small styrene block, a couple of very mall "strass" glass and small plexiglas blok .

Here the light module is in place on wing leading edge

here the plexiglas block was filed to shape and polished

At the moment I'm facing 2 more problems : a proper smoothing of the top rear fuselage joint in the area of the strenghtening strips and the rescribing of the engines auxiliary blow-in doors on the front cowlings, 3 different attempts failed .

This explains the delay in posting updates .

That's all for tonight !!!!

Alberto

To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.

To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.

Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
