As a relief from the ME410 just completed and the Hobby Boss F105 I am working on (yeeesh, what a project!) I finished this Hasegawa 1/48th initial release ME109E Galland before they "corrected" the fuselage. I did minimal aftermarket updates in the form of True Details wheels. I added brake lines (thanks again Mike for the photos), rudder cables, drilled and filed open the closed oil cooler exit and small cooling opening just behind spinner on bottom cowl. I know his aircraft have been done to death but I first found out about Galland through an article in American Modeler magazine in 1961 when I was 13. Later read "The first and the Last" and other articles, books, TV shows and videos and found Galland an interesting character to say the least. I had built one of these kits in 1993 but lost it in the Northridge Earthquake in 1994 along with most of the others I had at the office. Decided it was time to build another before the Eduard and Dragon 1/48th kits made all the Hasegawa ME109Es in the stash attic insulation. Not totally accurate but fun! Thanks for looking.

To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.
To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.
Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
