Just finished Special Hobby's 1/48 F2G (actually I have a couple of small items to attend to). I would say that its a pretty good kit to build if you take your time and dry fit everything.
Thanks for looking
Brian

Special doesn't describe the work you've done on this kit.

Beautiful workmanship and clean paint work sure do show!

That makes two beautiful F2G's kits I've seen done now.

Thanks for posting!

Beautiful F2G! What paint did you use for the red?

May 29 2012, 3:06 PM

I've got one in my stash, but it won't look THAT good.

Gorgeous! Can I ask you something?

May 29 2012, 10:29 PM

Are those the kit decals? I am afraid to use them because they may not be opaque enough. Also, what red did you use, its amazing.

They are the kit decals and they seem to cover just fine, but I coated them with decal sealer because I heard they are brittle. Also I trimmed off all the extra carrier film on the wing decals to make it easier.
I would highly recommend sealing the decals first just to be sure.

I'm not much on race planes, but that... That's a beauty.

Besides, its a Corsair! happy.gif

To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.

To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
