Hello gang! It is not very often that I post the work of someone else on this forum. But to day this person is not someone else and the model is so spectacular that I am very proud to endorse it. This is the work of my old buddy Alain Saccoccio from France, and it is a dedicated work of love. Of course Alain did a lot of work on the PCM model of which only a mere 20% remains from the original model. You can easily deduce that 80% is from scratch and you will be dead right! We gave the man a good hand as I did the paint job, Jean Bodson did the transparencies, Georges Olivereau did the stencils, and jacques Druel did the Breda safat guns. As you can imagine, this collective work gave birth to a masterpiece I am so glad to share with you guys. Enjoy, and receive my best regards from France, Jean.
The detailing is just magnificent, especially in the wheel well. If that's their 1/48th kit then it is truly mind-bogglin. Your paint work is marvelous as always!
To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.
To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.
Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
