Hi there,

last time I was working on that tree for my dio and niów it is drying, so its time for me to build the barn I was talking about.

The building is made entirely of wood, that way it looks much more real than if I would take plastic or something else. For the inner structure I used some small wooden beams:

This was covererd with some wooden veneer of different colors to make it look more lifelike.
I found some window frames in my spare parts box and added them, I only added some shutters for them and the 2-pieces large barn door, complete with some fittings.

For the roof I used some tin foil, which originally came from some peanut cans. I simply flattenend them, cut them to the appropriate size, folded and finally assembled them.

Sofar the barn is almost finished except some weathering and some glass for those 2 windows.

Here is how the entire dio looks right now, next is some color for the base..... of course I wil post some pictures of that progress too....

Have fun and if there are any questions just let me know.

Cheers from sunny Salzburg

To post an image of your models, you will first need to find somewhere to host your photos on the Internet. Your ISP will often give you a limited amount of free web storage, and other online photo storage is also available.

To post a link or an image, simply type in the URL (web address) of the destination page or image. The URL will appear as a link (for an HTML link) or an image (if you link direct to a .jpg file) when posted. You can use the Preview facility to see how your message looks before posting to Plastic Pix.

Please try to keep image sizes to 800 pixels wide or less, as larger sizes will be too big to fit on many computer screens. Also, file sizes should be kept to around 100kb or less, otherwise download may be very slow.
