Long time ago you could get the little parts necessary to repair a 1156 or 1157 light socket. Still can get a little kit at the local auto parts store with the insulator pigtails and springs.
What I am looking for is just the little brass button that gets crimped on the end of the wire, the one that the contact on the bottom of the bulb lines up with inside the socket.
Cool thing when you use them is, no splice in the wire and the color coded wire runs all the way into the socket. Had a bunch of those little things but now need more, can't find them anywhere.
Probably too small a part and too little demand for anyone to make them anymore.
But if you know where I can find some let me know, they are a little thing that really helps you make a cleaner more reliable wiring harness.
