I have a factory parts book for a 1972. All the bolt sizes are indicated in there. There are some British Standard Cycle and British Standard Fine, which take Whitworth wrenches. There are SAE, which take American wrenches. Most of the British threads are in the engine, and the cycle parts are mostly SAE. A factory parts book and service manual would be invaluable tool for you to have.
