rings not seated/installed right
intake/exhaust valves not seated correctly. maybe bent from hitting each other because of the big cam.
wrist pin clip popped out and scored the cylinder.
head gasket leaking.
put some oil down the cylinder. enough to cover the top of the piston and then check your compression. if it goes up it's the rings. if not it's the head.
live like your dying.
think about it.
