damn right the only reason to circulate primary oil back to eng. is because for what ever reason you can't stop primary leaks. When I ran a shovel back in the 70's I made an inline filter with a Stainlessteel screen and a small magnet in it to catch clutch debri as well as any metal debri from chain/sprockets it worked good and really showed hat you are putting back in the eng.later!
