I've been using Ford truck solenoids on my '77 Shovel for years and have always been plagued with slow cranking even after installing new batteries. I was recently told that this could be because automotive solenoids draw more amps then motorcycle solenoids do. Is this true or am I chasing a ghost? Anybody know the amperage draw on a bike solenoid as opposed to a car solenoid?
