1976 XLH Seized Engine

Just got my first Harley project and looking for some advice from some more experienced folks. It is a 1976 XLH 1000. Owner said he had the top end completely rebuilt. He drove it once and it was fine. Said when he went out to ride it agin the engine was seized. He got pissed and parked it. Finally got sick of it and sold it to me for short cash.
My initial plan is to pull the plugs and the starter and see if I can break the motor free. If this fails I may try some PB Blaster down the plug holes and let it sit or I will just pull the engine and tear it down.
While I am not experienced with Harley motors I have been an auto tech for over 20 years so I know my way around the tool box.
If anyone has suggestions or advice for me it would be much appriciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bill
