I have an 85 fxrs. Ran it 42 miles and the drive belt broke. Replaced the belt and rear tire. Drained oil from filter and replaced filter. I forgot to drain the oil tank itself. I was over tired and have been house hunting so my head was up my ass. Here's the issue; I have drained the oil from the tank and removed an oil line and drained what I could from there. The motor cranks just fine without the plugs in her. when I put them back in it will crank a half a revolution then stop. Pull the plugs and she spins free again.
I am assuming I still have a shitload of oil in the crankcase and its causing too much pressure for the motor to fire. However I am not a mechanic I just play one on tv so basically I have no clue how to proceed from here. When I first started cranking the motor it did puke a good amount of oil but that has stopped. I did get the house so I'm broke and need to fix this myself. Besides I hate taking shit into the factory. Any ideas?
