I made this a while ago but no longer have use for it. This was born as a normal car engine stand. I welded a Harley motor stand to it's bottom rail. This has the dimensions that will hold a Harley big twin engine such as Knucklehead Panhead Shovelhead (maybe evo motors too... just not sure if evo mounts are the same).
Great for any Harley mechanic who also tinkers with the occasional car engine. The cool thing about this stand is that once you remove the engine from your bike, you can quickly and easily get it to this mount since it has such a low profile. You can wheel the engine over to your workbench area, work on the engine, and then wheel it back over to wherever the bike chassis was located. NICE!
Asking $40. Local pickup preferred (Higley, AZ) but will work with you on shipping it. Just a thought here... but maybe a way for this to be shipped fairly inexpensively is that I can cut the vertical tube off at it's base. Then I could ship it as a much smaller (and thus less expensive) item. When you receive it, you would have to weld that tube back on... or else use it as just a wheeling engine stand.
Cheaper shipping idea still... I can cut the vertical tube off at it's base and throw it away and ship only the Harley Motor stand on it's wheeling base stand. This would be probably HALF the weight without that vertical part. Whatever you want to do I'd work with you on it.
