77 Honda CB750 four K chopper project - $4000obo (Weymouth)

by (Login Noname13)
Horsemen

Due to lack of funds, or the need for funds, my 77 honda cb750k project is for sale. I started w/ a complete running stock honda. had a local honda dealer run thru the motor, and rejet the carbs w/ 130 jets, k&n pod filters, and brand new mack drag pipes. I rode the bike last year when it was complete/stock, so I know the motor needs nothing.

I had tigman weld me up a custom frame for the motor. its a rigid, 8" up, 6" out, and 4" back, w/ 50deg of rake, set up to accept the stock honda rear wheel/brake assembley. I used the exile bike "the chopper" as my inspiration. That bike has nice lines. I also bought an oil tank from tigman, which is bolted on the frame. The bike/project is in roller form now, w/ a 16" over dna chrome springer, and a 21" hd single floating rotor on the front, and the honda rear wheel on the frame. Two new tires. Wheel bearings are good, and wheels have been trued. Lunatic made me some really nice aluminum risers for the 7/8" clubman bars, that I had widened to fit the springer. The frame has tank mounts already, to which a late model peanut sporty tank is bolted on. Tigman relocated the petcock on the tank so it would work w/ the stretched frame.

This bike/project comes w/ everything I have to complete this ride, including the mso for the tigman frame, the origional unmolestered honda frame (w/ numbers on the neck), for which the motor numbers match, the HONDA TITLE, so registering and insuring this bike will be a breeze. Trust me, I have been thru the whole applying for a title process before. You don't want to go thru it, if you dont have to, and w/ this deal...you wont. I have receipts for 95% of the parts included w/ this bike.

I have a 55 gal bin w/ all the parts needed to complete. This was my first ground up bike build, so I tried to set it up so the process would be very easy. I kept all the electronics/wiring harness intact, so I could just plug in the stock wiring to the motor, battery, etc, once in the new frame.

Along w/ the roller, i have two rear fenders, one stock honda, one brand new boat trailer, 1 brand new chr fender brace, 1 used spade sissy bar/fender brace, 1 new bates head light(mounted on roller), 1 fab kev tokkico front brake kit w/ braided brake line, 1 baas metalcraft battery box (the one w/ the speed holes), biltwell seat hinge, lepera "check mark" seat, new 630 chain, all the honda brake arms/linkage, 90% of the stock honda parts (ie fuse holders, bracketry, motor mount bolts. Long story short, I pretty much have every part to complete this bike, minus maybe a petcock, and a couple of oil lines.

If you pick up where I left off, you could probably have this done in time for xmas.

Asking $4000 obo. The bike is in Weymouth. I will consider a partial delivery, assuming you are not to far away, but would prefer a local sale.

More info on this

by (Login Kruuz)
Horsemen

1) Thickness of this bracket plate is 5/16"

2) The 4 threaded 5/16" diameter holes for mounting the two calipers are 5/16-18 NC pitch (NC = national course)

3) I assume (based on it's relative light weight) that this is made of billet aluminum, which of course as I mentioned, is chromed.

Tanks and fenders FS

by (Login crazypan)
Horsemen

Ok I am painting my bike because I simply dont like the paint job the po did. I figure if I can sell the entire set as is it might help someone who dosnt want to paint and I can pick up a set of tanks and a fender and paint them the way I want

The paint is black base with a gunmetal like color flake. I didnt paint it so I cant vouch for what was used. It does need to be wet sanded to be nice and smooth. There are a few little marks here and there which I think will all buff out. There are no dents. The rear fender was a hinged fender that was welded. The body work isnt perfect but it isnt bad. Great stuff for a driver.

The front fender is a aftermarket piece and requires spacers on each side to mount. I will include those spacers. They are about 1/2" thick

I want $325 and I will cover the shipping. If you are local (Caribou, ME) I will knock some money off for you if you want to pick it all up. I really cant negotiate on price on this. Thats enough money to buy me the fender, tanks and emblems. The emblems are included. The caps and pet cock ARE NOT included. I am not sure if these are factory or aftermarket tanks, if someone tells me how to figure it out I will

These are all off my 79 FLH

FOR SALE: Evo or TC Dyna exhaust

by (Login Nick-O)

these Khrome Werks are used, they are for 94-05, but I did have them mounted on an 07 using o2 sensor bypasses, these are one piece with the anti reversion cone built in as are the flanges, have the ARS II baffles, could use re-wrapping, we were never able to beat the dyno numbers on these pipes, they looked boring but they perform great. $100 plus shipping from 29902 [linked image] [linked image]

by (Login Nick-O)

We built these pipes, they are used, they have a pair of handcuffs welded together at the tips and I can't find the key so they are there until you pick them!, The chain is painted bronze, they mount so they exit right off the cam cone so mid controls aren't recommended! , they have little paddle screw baffles in the tips so they ran decent, they are pretty loud and looked cool....$80 plus shipping from 29902 [linked image] [linked image] [linked image]

I donated a Triumph tank awhile back, some guys on the Jockey board were getting a similar project ready for a Brit-riding Brother down to his last days.....

Sorry for your loss, Thanks for your memorial efforts.

maybe this can comfort those close to him....all I know of it is "an old Irish funeral prayer"...

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Everything remains as it was. The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no sorrow in your tone. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without effort Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight. I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again."

If the cases were hand ground to fit 3 5/8 S&S cylinders 79" with stock stroke (3.878-3.880 spigot holes in the case) you might be able to properly bore them for the Axtell 3 13/16 bore cylinders 88" inch with stock stroke (4.005-4.010 spigot hole)

HD OEM Panhead tanks FS

by (Login hogluvr)
Horsemen

I believe these are '52-'53 handshift tanks, someone removed the emblems some time ago & smoothed them over but you can still see where the mounts were when you look inside. They've been kreemed, one tank has a broken bottom mount, one tank is missing a stud. All threads are good, selling them as I found 'em, $300 + ship from Cleveland Ohio

HD Slant Latigo Saddlebags

by (Login hogluvr)
Horsemen

These are made from nice heavy leather, I've had a set on my FXR for years and they've held up nice. Some schmuck cut off the loops where you would normally mount these things with a yoke under the seat, looks like they mounted them directly to the struts. You would have to do the same or come up with a creative way to mount them. Have a few nicks & scuffs, overall in very good shape. These list out at $500 at the stealership, $150 + ship from Cleveland, Ohio
