Hi ,
This build took 4 months -
It was completed using the Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon (1/48 Scale) and also used the Monogram Wheels from another kit ,
It also has Canadian Ultracast Radiator , Exhausts , 4 Bladed Propellor and Typhoon Seat
( sutton harness was applied from the Eduard photoetch )
It also had Eduard photoetch in the cockpit and the radiator , although you can't see it to really good effect in the cockpit as the canopy is closed ,
I just really prefer the cockpit closed as the Aircraft looks 'just right'
but this is a personal preference .

This Aircraft is the one featured as a photograph in the Book WINGS OF CHANCE by Denis Sweeting ( he died 1996 ), which was his personal Aircraft TP-A .
MN951
I was given the original small wartime Photograph last year ,and researched it using the 198 Squadron website ( thank you Mr Cripps ), and the internet using the Squadron Codes and Aircraft Number .
I decided to build this as a tribute to those brave Typhoon Pilots who served in 198 Squadron .
