A 1/32 I-16 type 10 - I forget who the manufacturer was and which unit these uniques markings were for. Did this as one of my first review kits for SAM a few years ago.

Correction: This is the 1/32 special hobby kit. It's a type 17 and according to the SH instructions, this is the plane flown by 1st Lt. G Zhuikov, 7th IAP, Leningrad Front, Summer 1941.

I did scratch build quite a bit of the interior and added cable for the landing gear retraction

Now jumping ahead a little from the the summer/spring of 41 to the summer of 43
I present a 1/32 Hasegawa FW 190A-5 of JG54. Not a big fan of german WW2 aircraft, but this scheme did catch my attention (as a few others have as well).
