Revell 1/72 Lanc' nearing completion.

I am making this Revell 1/72 Lancaster in the markings of 106 Sqdn, RAF Metheringham. February 1944. I had the priviledge of meeting Sgt John Harrison, her rear gunner last Summer. ZN-P ME630 was shot down on the 19th/20th Feb 1944 raid on Leipzig. Sgt Harrison spent the rest of the war as a prisoner of the Germans. Today he is a nice, gentle unassuming man - but remains like all those who served in Bomber Command a Hero even though he would never see it that way!!! Sorry for poor image - taken on my Blackberry!!
