I´m not in home so can´t check the correct date and Operation´s name. On Ken Merrick´s camo books published by Classic there is a photo from my collection that shows two Me 109 G ( I guess... ) with white bands overlaping the wings. It was used on planes leaving the French front returning to Germany. As I told I´m not in home so not sure about dates. Anyone with access to the mentioned books can check that. Mabye late 1943 or early 1944. Is it possible the plane you´re modelling comes from this operation?
