When Brett announced the new theme I decided that "American Aircraft" could imply either American made, American flown, or both. So, at the risk of getting boo'ed out of the topic here is my earliest "American" aircraft (Roden 1/48th):

Outstanding little kite.Are you going to go for the big scale Nieuport 28 in 1/32 scale.Now that's one new kit for me to add to my must have list.Wonderful project.
