Great work John, particularly on the 737. Nice job on the gravel kit and the ..ahem.. dog's appendage.

A friend of mine retired from AC last year and now flies that very machine.

Thanks Jim ! Haven't heard . . .

of that item being referred to as a dog's appendage !!

Small world eh, with your friend flying this airplane. This model now rests in the office of the Director of Maintenance who looks after this airplane. Have your friend ask Barry for a look-see.

Regards, John

Will do. I tried to send him this thread, but he moved a week ago and his old e-mail address don't work anymore.

Nice Challenger

John

That's the latest Revell kit right? Looks great.

Actually that would make a great kit in 1/72nd or for that matter 1/48th. Too bad Leading Edge's Challenger is now long gone. (actually I recently saw one but I don't want to pay $300 for it).

I also recently picked up the Revell kit and the only reason was that it came with Luftwaffe markings. Love those military schemes on the biz jets.

Cheers
Chris

Thanks Chris ! . .

Yup, that's the Revell 1/144 kit. Kit decals, although I painted the tail. The kit decals provide for this airplane but in the earlier scheme without the yellow belly. I did the later one with the yellow belly and yellow/red winglets. Airliners.net has lots of photos of this bird.

You're right -- would be great to have one in 1/72 ! I do have the Leading Edge kit, but just need time to work on it ! Hope all is well with you & yours !

Cheers . . . John
