Just read that Finnland legitimately entered the conflict with Russia (again) after June 25th 1941 although Germany was allowed to stage and launch from there. Any good historical tid-bits? 1/72 Hasagawa. Tom
After Finland and the USSR fought the Winter War in 1940/41, they joined in on the German side for the "Continuation War" until 1945 when the Germans quit Finland. The Finns pretty much whooped Russian butt flying a lot of really obsolete types like the Buffalo, as well as more modern types like the Bf109G. There are some amazing stories about Finnish aces.
