The first is legit.... flown in honor of the 50th anniversary of D-Day.

This next one is really 4th FG markings in Korea, but where do you think they got their inspiration? wink.gif

1/48 kitbashed F-86A Saberjet using Lindberg/Monogram/Entex kits.

It's Monogram F-86F from the engine break forward, with the Lindberg "A" tail. However, the Monogram vertical fin (Lindberg's is too thin) and speed brake wells (none in the Lindberg model) were grafted on. The Linberg "A" windshield was blended into place and the Entex (old Marusan) F-86D Saberdog wings were grafted on and sanded into submission (gotta lose that "bump" on the bottom and reshape the wheel bays and main doors).

All in all, it's mainly a lot of elbow grease, and a much cheaper way to get a slat-wing "A" than the OOP CE conversion. Cheers!
