Another sub

After my recent success with the 1/700 HobbyBoss Chinese Song class sub I started a new 1/700 HobbyBoss Type IXB U-boot. This one I will stretch my skills (hopefully) further and create a splashing mess in the rough Atlantic! The ridges are created with spare drop tanks under the foam!

feel like a wimp looking at your 1/700 project - Seriously I love the finish and the way you have captured the passage of the vessel through the ocean especially the subtle underwater effects. Did you use the same - plastic Bubble wrap??? you are proposing to use on your U-Boot. Looks great well done

And don't worry, I am moving up to 1/48 also! I just like subs and wanted to try water. So far I am happy with the effect. The Song took 2nd at ModelZona 2011 for subs (last weekend).
