I just put a big Leapers scope on my 1250 (extra long with the sunshade) and noticed the front end was not lined with the barrel but instead off to one side. Upon taking off the scope I see the scope rail is not in perfect alignment, but "wanders" some to the left at its front end. (I closely inspected the scope rings but they're perfectly identical, so they're not a factor at all.) Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, how have you fixed it? I wonder if one might file down one side of a scope ring, and shim the other side, but it seems it would be tricky to get it exactly right, and one would still end up going by guesswork, and results might not be quite as desired. Thanks for any advice, comments, etc. I bought the gun new so should be able to send it in for replacement under warranty, right?
