put the gun up on something like a shooting bag that doesn't obstruct the view of the gun yet raises it up out of the grass. The grass does give the picture a "safari" look. I've been doing a lot of gun photography lately and am learning that it's not as easy as one would think. You tend to think the people viewing have your perspective.
