I called Gamo in Ft Lauderdale this morning to have the broken plastic trigger guard replaced and he said he'd replace it with a steel one...when I sent the broken one in...which I did.
I asked about the scope mount. He, too, said I should clean the surfaces and apply blue Loctite. I'm concerned about the shear strength of this stuff and if it doesn't hold when I try it this afternoon, I'll clean everything again and use some super glue in the dovetail.
I also asked him about the 6-48 tapped hole about 1 1/2 inches from the rear of the dovetail, centered, and he had no idea. Mentioned something about a European part.
