Response to 350 & 34 RWS

Rich in Mich. I took my 1250 apart except for the barrel and trigger. Now i am wondering how to get the piston out.Do i have to take the barrel off the gun? I thought it would be similar to a Diana, but it is quite different. Rich thanks for any help you can give, because i sure need it. Benson.
