I don't think so. The first 3 shots out of the rifle when I did the tune were really quiet...probably couldn't hear it across the street. But the next morning it was and continues to be, loud! More than pre-tune.
I have wondered if the initial (new gun) spring noise vibration frequency could have cancelled the frequency of the now evident noise. Yeah, I know it's a stretch, but what's left?
But that possibility is negated by the really quiet condition of those first 3 'thunk' shots.
