Hi, I am semi new to air gunning, and have a Gamo Shadow 1000. I want to fit a muzzlebreak to it

Will that fit on my Shadow, its a non bull barrel and doesn't have the plastic thing on it. And if yes, how would I go about removing the front site? On a different forum I got this answer 'knock the sight off forwards with something like a piece of wood behind it as its on a spline'.
As for pellets, what would be ideal for a springer of this power? The 10.5 grain domed crossman premeirs or the 7.9. Also, how would a 10.5 beeman kodiak perform with this gun? Thanks!
