Hello all, I just got my whisper back from pyramyd air. it wasnt shooting near what it should so Pyramyd sent me a new one, and it does shoot what it should, in fact the pba's shoot over 1200 fps!
Anyway, the scope rail on the one i sent them was all but destroyed, they sent a scope rail that had been patched, better than the one i sent them, i might add, none the less. I purchased the scope block reluctantly from gamo so i put the whole sheebang back on the new whisper but couldnt zero as there were those flimsy pieces of shim gamo put in the scope base. So i take it off once more and remove all that tape! Now i get it all back in place and once more go to the bench and zero it.
Great, i can now hit what i aim at! Then i put the scope caps back on to put it away, feeling better about finally being able to leave all those poor screws alone. Then!!! to my horror!! is the gamo
scope bumper almost off the scope rail and i notice the scope mount has moved about 1/2"!!!!!!!!!
EEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh.
Thats really quite polite to what i really said!!
Has anyone experienced anything like this? My scope is getting scratched to hell and I have already had to re tap two screws and use an easy out on another one! I am destroying this poor mount and scope, they cannot be made for all this on and off business!!
Can i swear on this forum!!! Please just a few lines of it!!! I promise i wont take the Lords name in vain!!
