You're correct Jim, my mistake, there is only a 1 year warranty on their rifles and pistols...
After posting my original message yesterday, I received a letter from Gamo telling me my rifle was ready for them to ship back and that I owed them 29.95. I called and asked what the charge was for and they told me it had a broken spring. Damn, that makes 3 or 4 JM Tarantula springs this thing has gone through. I hope they send back the "guts" of this thing so I can have Rich pop another Tarantula into her, the Gamo springs are garbage.
They did indicate the lateral play with the barrel has been resolved, so it WAS covered under warranty.
I'd still suggest you send the rifle to them. With all of the work that went into mine and apparently into yours, it would only be a 39.95 flat charge for them to fix any problem with your rifle if it's outside the 1 year warranty. Just my .2.
