Then you probably need to add almost an inch to get...

September 9 2006, 12:31 AM

...true sight height. So call it at least 3.25" + .5" (Scope tube radius) + .25" (rail to bore centerline) = 4".

With a ~900fps MV (or is that 600?), you should be looking at a trajectory "flat spot" (apogee) of around 40yds and a primary zero out around 50yds.

You won't need any more adjustment. Its very comfortable. And if my

hypothesis is correct, my 30-60 yard shots will all be dead on zero.

I can hardly believe my eyes and can't wait to hear about the testing results!

We have always heard the saying: “necessity is the mother of invention”. But, I for one will now say that: “Ken is The Mac-Daddy of Invention”

Pretty rigid, Tony. Its a chunk out of a $12 level from Home Depot. You can make 2

and still have some good alum. and the bubbles left over to play with. I was at Boyd farm (AAF site) all day today so haven't really tested it fully. I shot a few at 20 yds before leaving and as expected, I need to droop the scope down about 15 minutes. Will go at it Sunday.

I told a buddy of mine about the scope height thing and was pretty much laughed at. You be sure to post, here and on the main forum with your results, and knock everyone off their chair(guns).
