WalMart still selling Gamos?

Was just over to my local WM and they had no Gamo rifles, period. Just the Daisy (Winchester?) 1000 and the usual low-end Crosman pumps. They had been carrying the Shadows for $125. Guess they are being phased out, especially with the introduction of the new GLAMO line.

Dropped by Dick's where they had exactly two 220's and one Delta. The rest were a few 1077's. The local Sport's Authority has finally run completely dry with nada for any kind of airgun.

Is this part of the continuing trend in shooting irons?

What, me worry???

Mine ran out of S1ks a while back. They may carry the new line. It will be another 8 weeks

before Walmart gets them out of the DC's and into the IMS and finally onto the shelves.

According to Gamousa...

...the "old" models are going bye-bye, and when the retailers run out - that's it.

The NEW models all have one thing in common - no open sights! Everthing will come with a scope, no exceptions.

Do you know if this means we'll HAVE to buy one with their crappy scopes, or will we be able to get a gun alone?
