Where are you guys finding the reman CFX rifles that I've heard about for $99 or so?

I've been watching several sites but haven't seen any for weeks now.

Thanks,

Dan

The SCI Hunter Defense is actually a better deal. New gun and a really good scope too for just $90 more.

That is a good price - especially given the free shipping. But don't you find it...

October 24 2006, 5:15 PM

...objectionable that Gamo wants your drivers' license number to process the purchase?

I do.

I went to the auction arms web site and they have a locator for FFL transfer agents, I found one here in G.R. that cost only 20 bucks.
I didn't mind that to bad.

The Refurb CFX and Simmons 6.5-20X44AO 44 MAG Scope...

October 24 2006, 6:05 PM

were $99 bucks each from http://www.natchezss.com . You have to Click on the Envelope to get on Natchez's Mailing List for a Refurb. Gun, Scope and 1" High Mounts run about a total of $220 bucks. If you plan on using it for Field Target, the Simmons will be better for rangefinding. Ric

Accushot High Profile Airgun Rings

For 1" diameter scopes up to 56mm objective.
This ring mount features a removable recoil pin sited underneath the rear ring. The dovetail clamps feature a reversible clamping system which allows you to adjust the clamping from 9.5mm up to 11.5mm.
The removable recoil pin is sited underneath the rear ring. Slot the recoil pin into recess of certain models to prevent the mount moving rearward under heavy recoil.

Got to get the rifle first! I only have $89 left in the mad money account so I'm looking for the reman figuring I can over draw a little without getting into trouble with the wife. I may have to sell something here soon. He He

Ya, I'll need some high rings. I'm planning on doing some of my own fabricating. For me that's most of the fun. I probably spend about 80% of my airgun time tinkering with them instead of shooting them. What's wrong with that picture! LOL

Thanks Ric,

Dan

My CFX 20 Yards, 5 shots, Benchrested with Iron Sights...

after about 200 pellets using the stock trigger. With some trigger adjustment, my factory trigger adjusted down to a nice 3 pounds 6 ounces. It's a very accurate gun out of the box. Enjoy, Dan! Ric
