Whats up guys. I don't post too often, but thought I would share this with the gamo gang. Took yesterday off and went out quail hunting with a life long friend. spent the better part of the day chasing them around with the shotguns getting 2 for myself and my buddy got two also. after a great day of hiking, seeing 3 coyotes and getting a few birds we headed back to the truck, had a couple budweisers and kicked back b/c traffic would be bad if we headed home now. while Landon took a snooze I thought I would burn the last half hour of daylight looking for a few jacks to bust. saw a few but they took off before I could get the 890 to my shoulder, and they do NOT stop untill they are out of eyesight. oh well, back to the truck. Much to my suprise I walked myself right in to a covy of about 10 quail and they didn't fly, just ran into a group of shrubs about 30 yards away. loaded a Kodiak .177 and anchored this nice male, shot to the neck. I was SO pumped!!!! My friend could not believe I shot it with my "bb" gun. My 890 has been Turbo Tuned and shoots great with kodiaks. -Ryan_J
