What type of seal is the one located just behind the pellet as you close the barrel? Is this a dust seal or more for compression??Right at the end of the day it got buggered up some.I think a pellet got unseated and caught the seal as I closed the barrel.Once home I was able to reposition the seal 99%.I would think these get changed regularly anyway. If this seal is messed up what can it effect?Lastly, where can I buy a few extras? Thanks .P.S Looking to get a consistant 1/2" group at 25 yards.Spread was about 3" today with some shots going way out of that range. Thanks
That's called a "breach seal" and they are replaceable

but someone else will have to tell you where to get them. They are a pressure seal, the way to tell if they are leaking is put a little piece of TP/tissue over the (closed) breach and fire the gun. The tissue will move if there's leakage. Leakage can cause loss of power and loss of accuracy. You might be able to just "turn over" the one you have to get a little more life out of it. Take care removing it, some of those are nearly 1/2" long and they're in there pretty tight.
You can purchase the breach seal directly from gamos website.www.gamo.com.its the medium size seal part number 22060.they cost $9.96 for the package of 4.that includes shipping.i ordered mine from them.you will have them in less than a week.
and replaced the damamged one . I first cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol to remove and oil so the seal wont slip around . It installed very easy and seems to be an improvement over the other seal. This weekend ill get back to the range with some new pellets Id like to test.
